FAQ

How to peel off the clear backing film?

Step 1 – Wet one corner of the window film and twist it with your fingers for a while to loosen the connection between the window film and the clear backing film.

Step 2 – Please put sticky tape on both sides of one corner of the clear backing film (for your convenience, we also put a small green sticky tape on each roll of window film) and press to achieve an effective hold.

Step 3 – Then you can easily separate the clear backing film from the window film.

How do I deal with air bubbles?

If you find it difficult to remove the air bubbles, uncover the window film, spray more water between the glass and the window film, and then scrape hard again. The water will make the air bubbles easier to be removed.

Why does the film come off after a period of time?

Please check if you have removed the backing film, trimmed the edges, or scraped off the excess water and air bubbles.

Leave a 1/16″ wide gap around the four perimeter edges of the film.

This gap is critical for proper thermal expansion of the glass and allows you to completely scrape off water and air from under the film.

    My only complaint about this window film is that it can be a little tricky to get those tiny air bubbles out at first. But the tip about using extra spray water really does help work them out. Looks flawless now!
